UX Design 🌈

Hi there! I can't wait to share my design with you 😆
As an experienced UX (User Experience) designer, I have been creating data visualisations, academic posters, book covers, conference-related designs (e.g. event tickets and event badges), event advertisements and promotional videos for the past few years. This portfolio showcases some of my commissioned designs that have been approved by clients for display.

📘 Book Cover

Many of my clients are linguists or psychologists who I've met at academic conferences or similar events. It's unfortunate that many scholars, especially Chinese scholars, still have to fund their book publishing on their own. I'm glad to have contributed to their publication with the discount I provided.

📃 Academic Poster

Designing academic posters is enjoyable because it allows me to tell a story through the effective use of aesthetic techniques. Besides the research that I coauthored, most of the academic posters I have created were commissioned by researchers in the field of humanities and social sciences.

🎫 Academic Event Support

Conference organizers often focus on academic input to the detriment of administrative support. A conference cannot exist without both academic and administrative support. Depending on the type of conference, various materials may be required, such as speaker badges, event tickets, promotional posters, promotional videos, and brochures.

Data Visualisation

Similar to academic poster, I am also interested in how we could 'tell a story' based on big data. I usually use CiteSpace, Tableau, Prism, and Adobe Illustrator to facilitate this process, in addition to the data analysis toolkit of Stata, Python, JASP, Amos, and SPSS.
